And Write up about Araujo's visit to Pacifica Historical Society on PHS August Newsletter
I wish to share that a selection of Limited Edition Prints of my original paintings paying a homage to the goddess Pacifica - Ralph Stackpole's iconic 80 foot statue that stood at the Golden Gate International Exposition of 1939-40, are currently on display at the Pacifica Historical Society & Pacifica Coastside Museum.

Some years back, I learnt about the connection of Stackpole’s Pacifica statue and naming the town of Pacifica, and the 8-foot fiberglass replica statue by Sal da Guarda honoring Pacifica that is housed at the Pacifica Historical Society museum's collection.
It was so kind of Stephen Johnson (a delightful historian and member of the Pacifica Historical Society) to have invited me to tour this museum and showcase my works of Pacifica to adorn the permanent exhibit accompanying ephemera and history of the 1939 exposition.
Stephen Johnson published a lovely write up that is featured in the latest PHS August Newsletter Issue about my artworks and recent visit to the Pacifica Historical Society.

I highly recommend visiting this enchanting coastside museum and view the exhibits relating to the history of the city of Pacifica: from the Ohlones to the Pacifica railroad, Surfing, and of course the GGIE and Stackpole's Pacifica! The limited editions are available for purchase at the museum's gift shop, and also via my shop page. Each print measures 8" x 10"; Editions of 50 and signed & numbered by Araujo.
Pacifica Historical Society, 1850 Francisco Blvd, Pacifica, CA.
