A second attempt to the series devoted to Longleat’s rooftop,Under Construction II, offers a softer and airy space in which the chimney tops and accompanied structures are standing firm and harmoniously. The negative space on the left is empty as if the foundation is unfinished. Under-constructed forms make this drawing a workable vision and offers beauty as it is, without the need of completion.

Under Construction II was exhibited in 2004 at Den, in San Francisco, in conjunction with a book release exhibition by the California College of the Arts, entitled CCA Literary Journal Inauguration: Eleven-Eleven, Volume I.

This drawing was acquired by a San Francisco Private Collector, in 2005.
