Two Person Art Exhibit: Patricia Araujo and Mark Ellinger at the Old Mint
: Works Inspired by San Francisco's Mid-Market Architecture.
This exhibition spotlights new works by both artists: Paintings by Patricia Araujo and Photography by Mark Ellinger, and in collaboration with the San Francisco Museum & Historical Society. Patricia Araujo and Mark Ellinger will exhibit their second collaborative exhibition, and in union to their admiration of the city's iconic architecture and history. This exhibition will be a collaborative project in all efforts with creation of works, curatorial practice, installation of exhibition and promotion.

HEART OF THE CITY: Paintings, Drawings and Photographs of San Francisco's Central City -
Two Person Art Exhibit and Book Release: Patricia Araujo and Mark Ellinger, @ North of Market/Tenderloin Community Benefit District Corporation, 134 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA.
"The North of Market/Tenderloin Community Benefit District, in celebration of the opening of its new offices, is pleased to announce an exhibition of paintings and drawings by Patricia Araujo and photographs by Mark Ellinger. Featuring new work by both artists, the show is a tribute to the beauty and splendor of decaying and abandoned architecture and iconic city landmarks that distinguish the Tenderloin, mid-Market Street and 6th Street/SoMa. The opening will coincide with the release of two books: Patricia Araujo’s "SOMA SEEN", featuring drawings and paintings by Patricia of the South of Market architecture, and the first volume of Mark Ellinger’s Up from the Deep: The Hotel Project, entitled "Up from the Deep, Part Two: Mid-Market Street" .
Both artists, Mark Ellinger and myself, Patricia Araujo, curated this exhibition . We were in charge of installation process, and handling promotion and sales, at the gallery space for 6 months' duration.

2006 - 2008:
Guest Artist/Curator for Solo Show
The Old Emporium, Westfield San Francisco Shopping Centre, San Francisco, CA.
A two year exhibition presenting my paintings of San Francisco's Old Emporium building's 2004 renovation which involved the elevation of its rotunda 60 feet off the original ground level.  "While the Old Emporium is being converted into the new West Coast Westfield San Francisco Shopping centre in September 2006, the rotunda still remains inside the building as it has for the last 100 years."
In-charge of installation job, curatorial practice, and promoted this exhibit during the two year period.

Presented paintings of San Francisco's Old Emporium dome during its 2004 renovation.
In-charge of gallery installation curatorial practice, and exhibition during month of September.
"This exhibition was held at DA Arts, the former District Attorney's Office, which has been transformed into an art gallery by the Tenderloin Housing Clinic". Sponsored by BeyondChron.org

2005:
Guest Lecturer at  FIRST ART SALON, at Private Collector's home, Jerry Shapiro, in Sausalito, CA.
Artist as presenter and lectured to a group of docents from SFMOMA and San Francisco Fine Art Museums, (FAMSF). March 2005.
Exhibited my paintings related to Copper Series and presented video, Patricia Araujo: New Paintings.
